Information handling
This page explains how TripSurf collects, uses, stores and deletes information.
Analytics is optional. No GA4 script or analytics request is loaded before you allow it.
1. General policy
TripSurf handles information only to the extent necessary to operate a personal website.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
We do not serve advertisements, track behavior for advertising purposes, create visitor accounts or connect to AI services.
2. Information we handle

We do not send terminal input, edited HTML, personal messages or similar content to GA4 as analytics events.
The visit counter does not store lists of individual visitors’ IP addresses or identifiers.
3. Linux environment
The terminal runs in an isolated virtual environment within the browser.
- Commands you enter are not sent to a server.
- Files you create or edit are not stored on the public server.
- HTML edits do not affect other visitors or the public pages.
- Temporary Linux files and command history are discarded when you reload the page, exit or reset the terminal. This does not clear the separate AI model cache.
The virtual environment does not provide access to the file system on your device or to external networks.
The HTML preview restricts script execution, external communication, form submission and similar actions.
4. Processing by external services
This site is delivered through Cloudflare.
Cloudflare processes connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect this website. Its analytics help us understand countries, crawler activity and suspicious requests. Bot and AI classifications are estimates or provider classifications, not proof of identity. Only anonymous request totals and an estimated share of self-identified AI crawlers/assistants may be displayed by the terminal counter. These HTTP request counts are separate from the homepage visit counter; the remainder is not identified as human. API abuse protection temporarily uses the connection IP address in Cloudflare’s rate limiter. This site does not write those addresses to its database or application logs.
TripSurf’s decision not to store per-visitor access histories in its application does not mean that the hosting provider does not process or retain connection information.
For details, please see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
5. Settings and data deletion
GA4 starts only after you allow it using the choice at the bottom of the page. Declining does not affect the site, terminal or games. Your choice is saved for up to 180 days on this browser. If browser storage is unavailable, it applies only to the current page. You can change it below; declining stops future analytics and removes this site’s GA4 cookies without resetting your terminal.
Your choice: analytics allowed.
Your choice: analytics declined.
GA4 event and user data retention is set to 14 months, without restarting the period on new activity; standard aggregate reports may remain longer. GA4 cookies are set for up to one year without renewal on each visit. Browser restrictions may shorten these periods. Changing your choice or clearing cookies does not delete data already sent to Google.
Display language
A language preference selected manually is saved in your browser. Run lang auto in the terminal to clear that preference and return to your browser’s language settings.
Terminal and HTML editing
Command history and temporary edited files are discarded when you reload the page, exit or reset the session.
Local AI
AI conversations end on /exit, terminal Exit/Reset, reload, navigation, hiding the page or five minutes of inactivity. Model files may remain cached for reuse. To remove them, clear this site’s data in your browser settings; this also removes saved site preferences. The next AI session may need to download the files again.
Visit counter
The cumulative visit count is maintained for the site as a whole. It does not consist of individual visit records or stored visitor IDs.
6. Contact
The Mail feature is currently under construction.
